Our assignment was to take a plain, low-budget instruction manual from a First Alert fire alarm and produce a 2-color redesigned manual that is easier to read and more friendly and readable to the masses.

My design put good use to my 2-colors (red-orange and black on white stock) by screening the colors. I rearranged the information presented in the original instruction manual giving an easier read and I emphasized section titles for easy browsing.

This was a very successful design and a very functional one.
