Logo Design

I was asked to design the logo for the Visualization, Imaging and Animation lab (VIA) at Ball State. This logo was meant to kick off their program and start getting people excited about 3D computer generated imagery at BSU.

I originally designed the top example for the lab to start using early in 2000. Then, during my Honors Fellowship with the lab, Mitch Stark and I worked on the website for them, and enhanced the logo for a stronger 3D and animation feel.

The frog is included as reference to the first animation produced by the lab, and is a reoccurring visual throughout all the work we do for them.
