Interpretive Design
This was a great exercise! The whole idea was to push our personal limits. We found “crutches” that we relied on design-wise, and strove to go the furthest away from where we felt comfortable.
We had six categories to push our designs in: Deformed/Grunge Design, Handwritten Typography, Vernacular, Caligrammes, Classic, and Combination.
Above, I have shown an extra sketch of the “Pride” grunge design, simply because I really liked it, even though I picked the other design as the final piece for that category.
