Image Interpretation Design

In this design project I was supposed to find an intriguing magazine photograph and reinterpret it by using only one letter of any typeface.

I love this Maya ad, so I sought out a letter form that was just as bold and “in your face” as the ad.

I believe that I found the best letterform that can accurately depict this Valvoline ad. The shape of the letter mimics the knight and the typeface is also one from that era. Amazing isn't it?
