Polish American Congress
Unused Logo Designs

2002
The first "star & eagle" logos were designed to have a dignified and powerful presence. Using obvious symbolic references with the eagle (bird of prey) and star. It was designed with a strong iconic style to be used with and without type.
The idea for the second "star spiral" logo was derived from the Great Circle formulae used by aviators, symbolizing a link between the United States on one side and Poland on the other.
The last two logo designs use a ribbon-like design element to symbolize the organizations past and future. In the first example, it shows a road of progress "moving up" and onward. The second example, shows a low point in their history (having to leave Poland during WWII) that sharply takes off again.
