Reduction Oil Painting

This was an assignment in a painting class. The problem was to arrange seven monochromatic panels in a way that tells a broken narrative, much like Mark Tansey. I chose the subject of manhood. Also, like Tansey, I used the “extended brush” method to produce this reduction painting.
